REITERATING THAT THIS IS NOT ME. I'm only posting since not everyone frequents both forums. First of all, the purpose of this thread is to bring awareness and share my story with the Z community. I have Pm'd admin and got approval for this. I'll start by saying I have used AMS parts in the past with no issue at all. They were friendly, quick with shipping and had support for all my questions. I recently ordered a full AMS exhaust system, DP, TP, and the cat back. I received everything fine. When I was communicating back and forth over email with "Red" he ensured that exhaust "fits perfectly fine" When I mean fitment, I don't mean the tips lining up. I couldn't even get that far. The problem is that the TP and the X pipe do not even line up. There is a 1 inch gap and there is no amount of adjusting to get anything to line up. Pictures:

Now I've done my part and tried to contact AMS to resolve this issue. This is where things have gone sour. To save you from hours of reading I will sum it up in bullet points: - Tried calling their shop multiple times during their business hours. Left voicemails with no reply. They ONLY communicate via email if you hound them for a reply. - Solution is to dremmel the exhaust bolt holes to fit narrow bolts that "you have to buy" the ones provided won't work. - Asked for a refund because don't want to be modifying something that should fix out of the box, my intent is to ship back their exhaust. No reply about that. - AMS blames the shop not being competent. More insults. Their "solution" is to keep telling me how great a deal I got on an exhaust and I should be "grateful" - When told I'm going to share my story online with other potential customers they come back with saying "Threats aren't going to get you anywhere" - Opened a claim with the BBB - Asked for a invoice for my order. Told not to email back again. Never received invoice. Now I reached out to another member here on the boards who ordered the same exhaust and he outlined his anger to me the same way I have here in this post. He had the EXACT same problem of the pipes not lining up correctly. Now you tell me, is this "Perfectly fine fitment"?
My car has been sitting at a shop for a whole week now because of AMS's non fitting exhaust. Paired with their poor service and lack of manners treating customers I will never purchase from them again. I strongly urge those of you reading this not to do so either. I will update this thread about my BBB claim when I get word back. . . . . .
